What I've learnt about God:
It's odd, you think that another list of names wouldn't bring any new aspect of God's character to light (and who knows, after a few more chapters of Chronicles it might not) but tonight I was struck by the fact that God uses unlikely people such as concubines in order to further His will, it's not just the high and mighty.

What I've learnt about me:
I think in contrast to yesterday and thinking about God's use of me, today I've realised that I need to be less judgemental and not discount people purely because I don't think there's a way God can use them, I need to see that God can and does use the most unlikely of people.

I was surprised to read about Judah's children with his daughter-in-law!
