What I've learnt about God:
God listens to prayer and can do what seems impossible. We shouldn't doubt Him because at the end of the day He can do anything. He also cares deeply about each and every one of us, so much so that He answers prayers for a child, it's not just prayers for people to come to God, or prayers for world peace or whatever, He also cares about the prayers for things we want for ourselves.
What I've learnt about me:
I've read this passage in Luke many a time before and what struck me on this read as it does every time is verses 2-4, the fact that the writer wants us to have certainty, he's been following things closely and he has his information from eyewitnesses. It's not a fairytale or fiction, it's fact presented as fact with proof to back it up.
