What I've learnt about God:
Well God clearly has a plan. He put all these people together in order to create Israel and to ultimately lead to David and then Jesus.
What I've learnt about me:
I bet most of the people in the list didn't think they were important, but just because they might not have seen it doesn't mean God didn't see it and use them. Even past their lifetime they were important. Therefore I've got to accept that even if I'm not doing big and grand things God will still be using me for His greater purpose.
