What I've learnt about God:
Look at what the Apostles are doing. Do you see how much power God has given them? Therefore that's the power God has given us. The Holy Spirit gives us strength and wisdom and words but also see they were serving people and helping them. Perhaps you may not feel that you've been granted the gift of healing, but perhaps you have the gift of hospitality or something, the Holy Spirit will have given you powers.
What I've learnt about me:
I just love the fact that the Pharisee sees what so many people are oblivious to today: if this had been down to man it would have failed - Jesus' death would have been the end of it. But look at the disciples' reactions, they went and told so many people about Jesus and His resurrection, it truly is all from God. I'd highly suggest reading The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel as it has great proof of Jesus being God and risen and it's worth arming yourself with arguments for when under opposition!
