What I've learnt about God:
You can't be legalistic with God. "Oh I followed this rule" doesn't make you in right standing with Him, you can see that with the Pharisees. Also God is the King of Comebacks, seriously, those Pharisees couldn't ever fluster Jesus, He always had a good comeback. Once again we see the amount of authority He has on earth.
What I've learnt about me:
I find it encouraging to be reminded that God came to heal the sick not the righteous, God came to help fix me, not to say I'm not good enough. On a different note I find myself getting jealous of the people who were there and did get to see these amazing things, but I need to remind myself that I've got them all recorded in the bible and I can still very much see God at work in my life.

Luke 5:32 "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance"
Boom! Pharisees 0 - Jesus 9,999,999... Jesus wins! And we win too because Jesus came for US!
