What I've learnt about God:
I love seeing God as He righteous judge who feels indignation every day. So often we think of God just as the judge but we forget He is also the victim, He is the one we are rebelling against and it's right and proper that He should feel indignant and hurt. But even though we are the ones rejecting Him, He still judges us fairly and gives us many opportunities to repent, in which case He then becomes our shield.
What I've learnt about me:
David doesn't just focus on the punishment of his enemies, he also looks at whether he's done any wrong and the punishment he deserves. I need to be more inwardly critical of my actions rather than focusing on other's wrongdoings.
