What I've learnt about God:
He keeps His promises. Even after all that time He looked after Noah and his family and the animals and bought them back to safety. He sustained them during their time on the ark and didn't forget.
What I've learnt about me:
Patience has never been a virtue I've owned. But look at Noah - he waited during the flood, he waited while the water's receded, he sent out the dove multiple times. He didn't rush things but was patient and waited on God's timing. I should try and follow his example more.
