What I've learnt about God:
Compared to the rulers of the world, God is so powerful that He can laugh at their position being against Him. He will always be the victor, He is always above any ruler on earth and He will punish those who have turned from Him.
What I've learnt about me:
When the world seems to be an awful place I need to remember that God is in charge of it all and in fact has already placed Himself as ruler over all. Also when things in my life are going bad I really should pay more attention to the end of verse 12 and take refuge in God rather than trying to solve the problems by myself or taking the wordly approach.
