What I've learnt about God:
He loves us even when we don't feel like He does, He's saved us once for all, and He gives us good things. So even if it may feel like He's far away, He's not. THese things continue to be true no matter what.
What I've learnt about me:
Often when I feel God's far away I wallow in that and start moaning and complaining about Him. How different is David's reaction, he points himself back to all the good God has done for him. If I could try and do that then I'm sure things would never seem as bad and God would never seem as far away.
