What I've learnt about God:
God will save us from all the evil in the world. He will protect us, and I see this protection in multiple ways: not only does He give us a way out from the punishment we deserve, but He also has given us the Holy Spirit so we can say no to this wickedness.
What I've learnt about me:
We're always hearing that our generation is the worse etc. etc. but look at what David is saying - there is no-one who isn't wicked in his generation. As opposed to despairing about how bad the state of the world is we should be rejoicing that now, like then, God is protecting us from the wickedness.
