What I've learnt about God:
He calls us to rejoice and give thanks and pray no matter what. This doesn't mean we have to always be happy with everything, but we always have at least one good thing as we have God.
What I've learnt about me:
If we focus on holding onto good things then abstaining from evil will be easier.
