What I've learnt about God:
When He favours us, we can advance to great things in order to do His good works.
What I've learnt about me:
Esther was always one of my favourite books of the bible growing up, a girl getting to become queen, romance etc. it's hardly surprising. But what struck me today was Esther must have been very humble. If she had been snobby, or bratty or vain she wouldn't have won the favour of all those people, or only taken what she had been advised to take. Our hearts should strive to be like that.
