What I've learnt about God:
He freed us from sin in Christ but He also freed us from having to make these sacrifices for our sins as Christ was sacrificed once for all.
What I've learnt about me:
It may all seem very ritualistic, but it's clear that Christianity is about faith not works, where our heart lies, and it seems much better as no longer are we relying on our own deeds, but rather on God's grace.
