What I've learnt about God:
We should fear Him, and all too often we don't. But He is all powerful and deserves to be feared.
What I've learnt about me:
It's essential when reading the bible to look at the context. These laws may seem odd to us, but actually they are regulating what is going on to make it fair and helpful.
