Day 32: Gospels and Epistles - Luke 22:1-46

What I've learnt about God:
There's a lot I could say so I'm gonna do some key points - God knows everything, He knew about where they would feast, He knew who would betray Him, He knew Peter would deny Him, He knew what was going to happen to Him. As you can see this foreknowledge is useful, but also terrifying, for the first time when reading this I've seen the parallel between Jesus and Peter, Peter claims he is ready to face death for his faith but then denies it instead, Jesus knows He will be killed and yet prays to God that His will be done, even when that means crucifixion. I know if push came to shove I'd be a Peter, in fact I think the majority of us would, especially us who've lived comfortable lives and not really known the fear of death, but see what happens when Jesus prays that God's will be done, God's angel comes and strengthens Jesus so that God's will can be done. We need to not forget that God is with us and strengthening us to do the hard tasks He might have set for us. With Him we can do these things.

What I've learnt about me:
Apart from the stuff I've listed above, I need to become more servant hearted and willing to serve. All too often I'm willing and ready to be the servant if the task is easy and fits me, but I don't often do things I don't want to do.
