What I've learnt about God:
He is in control even of all the awful things that happen in the world. Obviously this doesn't mean God is pro-suffering and the issue of God and suffering is still a big and contentious one which I'm not going to get into, but yeah, God is in control of everything in the world whether it's good or bad.
What I've learnt about me:
I need to stay alert and stay focused on God.
