What I've learnt about God:
He makes things possible that are otherwise impossible, and gives us more than what we give up. I've had to give up some stuff and some people since deciding to follow God with all my heart, I'm possibly about to have to give up someone else close to me. So it's a great reminder that God knows these things and will provide now and in heaven. And it's so true that He provides for us on earth, I mean look at your church family, your Christian friends etc. aren't they amazing and just such an encouragement in your life? I don't know what I'd do without mine.
What I've learnt about me:
I love verse one saying we should always pray and not lose heart, definitely something I should remember.
Verse of the day:
Luke 18:17 "Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."
The image of receiving it like a child is so potent because a child is completely dependent on their parents for everything. In this way we should be totally dependent on God for all our things, not on human strength.
