What I've learnt about God:
He remembers His promises and they will come to fulfilment. We will be delivered from our enemies and we will have mercy through Him and Him alone. God offers us salvation and forgiveness of sins and will 'guide our feet into the way of peace' (verse 79).
What I've learn about me:
Salvation should strike me more with how much of a great thing it is, how awesome a gift we are getting from God. I don't feel as enthused about it as I should because God has saved us from horrible things with this gift of salvation.
Verse of the day:
1 Luke 1: 58 "and they rejoiced with her"
Okay so it's only part of the verse but I love how when God blesses someone the whole Christian family can rejoice with them. How great a joy it is to share in someone else's happiness rather than being jealous.
